Ted Baker Faked to Perfection Nails

(Ted Baker Faked to Perfection in Rose Gold – £8)

I was recently obsessed with Shellacs and got one every month as a treat. However, I noticed that my nails were starting to break really easily and that maybe I should give them a break. Yet, instead of leaving them alone, I stumbled upon this set in Boots and decided that perhaps acrylics were a good idea, to hide the breakages. Very silly, but still, they are so pretty! The Faked to Perfection set consists of around 40 nails and a nail glue for application. They come in all sizes, so that you’re able to pick the perfect sized nail for your fingers, often with only 1mm difference in sizing. The coating is beautiful and I got so so many compliments when I wore these. A light lilac with rose gold tips that really are perfection when they’re all neatly applied. You just add the nail glue, quite liberally I found, to the under side of the nail before placing it onto your nails. It takes about 2 minutes before it is totally dried and stuck down, so you have to be careful when doing this. But when they’re all applied properly, they probably last for around 2 days or so before you may need to reapply one that is coming a bit loose. That might just be me, who seems to knock up my nails quite often, but if you’re quite good with wearing acrylics, you might find they stay put longer because you use your hands more delicately. But overall, when they were all applied, I absolutely adored these! My nails are still left with glue on them, but I’m sure some acetate can get that off, I’m just still being lazy.
