Yup. It’s that time of year again that us single people hate. The time when everyone feels like they have to buy each other gifts rather than actually having the loving sentiment behind it. Whilst that is somewhat cynical, there are couples out there that really love this holiday, and every year they make it more and more special. Even as a single gal, I will be pampering myself that evening, probably having a huge bubble bath, popping a bottle of Champagne, setting up a film and chilling in the bath for a few hours to toast my singledom. For I believe that singledom should be enjoyed just as much as a relationship can be. So I thought I would put together a bit of a Valentines Day bundle. The gifts you can buy others, guys or girls, or just buy yourself for your night in. Why not treat yourself, if you don’t have someone else to buy for. It just means you can spend on yourself instead! And if you are in a relationship, I hope that perhaps this gives you some ideas, especially if you’re a boy in need of an idea.
Gift Guide
Lets start with gifts as we all love those. Whether its a box of chocolates from Lindt or a bouquet of flowers, I’m sure the lady or gent will love them. But here are a few other ideas for gifts, or things that I personally would love. I’ve pulled a few together, with jewellery, cosmetics, homeware and smellies, just to make you or your loved one feel amazing. The new Illamasqua and Clarins collections are particularly amazing!

If you’re looking more along the lines of Jewellery, whilst I have shown you quite a few gift ideas, there are so many awesome jewellery stores you could take a peek at for presents, that you might not have thought about. Rings, necklaces, bracelets, engraved pieces. Why not treat someone to something special in their birth stone, so my birth stone is a Ruby, but theres always Pearls, Amethysts or Emeralds. Or if you’re looking for something ultra special, head to good old Tiffanys, if youve got the extra cash that is. For your guy, why not treat him to a new watch from Nixon, Michael Kors or Armani for example. Watches are always an easy piece to buy a guy and everyone needs a watch in my experience.
Places to Go
Okay, this is probably one of the easiest things to work out. What are you going to do for the big day? Are you going to stay in and watch a film, buy a bottle of bubbly and cuddle all night? Or are you going to go out and spend time together? Maybe its something you always do, like the cinema, or a meal at your favourite restaurant. Or why not mix it up a bit and do something spontaneous and different. You could treat yourselves to a spa day and get pampered, whilst spending relaxing time together. Me and a boyfriend did this once and it was amazing. Otherwise, why not do something really fun and different like a Casino night, salsa lessons or cocktail making? Its a day when you can do something totally different, so why not?Whatever you end up doing, make sure you’re prepared, book in advance, buy in advance and enjoy it :)
