Oh, just look at this. Isnt it beautiful? I have had my eyes on this for so long. I just love palettes that have more than one product in them, that are perfect for taking places with you or even just quickening up your makeup application in a morning. The shades seemed to be the perfect colours, so I couldn’t wait to give it a whirl. As you can see from my pictures, I apply the sculpting powder duo after foundation and powder, applying the bronzed shade to the hollows of my cheeks with a Real Techniques Contour brush. In fact if you want to see this in action, I use this in my new makeup video. You only need a small dusting onto the brush because the powder is so pigmented, and it blends beautifully into the skin to give the perfect contour. Then I apply the highlighter to the cheekbones, and up around the eyelid with a Real Techniques buffing brush and blend the two together to create a seamless fade from bronzed to light.
I actually couldnt recommend this more. It is by far my new favourite beauty product. Super easy and quick to use and the shades are perfection. The highlighting shade is just the right amount of champagne shimmer and can be built up from a light sweep to a much more illuminated finish, depending on your occasion. Due to how pigmented they are also, only a small sweep goes a long way, so I think this is going to last me a good six months at least. Another Illamasqua product that has blown me away.
