Melvita Cleanser and Eye Contour Gel

(Melvita Fresh Eye Contour Gel – £23* and Fresh Cleansing Milk – £16*)
This post is long overdue, especially seeing as I use these products now daily. Melvita is a brand I have tried once before when I received a sample of their rose cleansing oil in a Beautecobox. Placing oil around my eyes is something I have not quite come to terms with however, so this cleansing milk is much more up my street. A really light and creamy cleanser that wipes away all traces of makeup, without making your eyes smart or skin feel too tight. For tougher mascaras such as Benefit They’re Real, you need to apply a few pumps of the product one after another onto clean cotton wool pads and keep going over your eyelashes gently, but for easier mascaras, they come off fairly easily with this. I have just been enjoying using this as its easy to get out of the bottle and does a great job, so about half of this tube is gone now.

The second product is the eye contour gel and a product that some may find somewhat useless. However, I have been applying this underneath all makeup and moisturisers every day and would also apply it at night if I didn’t already have a night time eye gel. Anything to add more moisture and hydration to the eye area is perfect and this certainly ticks that box. It has a serum-like light texture and a little goes a long way to hydrating the under eye circles. I feel the more I apply products such as this, the more my eyes look brighter and less tired in the mornings. It is a routine I feel is better to get into now than coping with eye bags and darker circles when older, so this is a product I will definitely be continuing with.

These are probably two products you had never thought about, but hopefully you might be intrigued to give them a go if you’re after trying a great skincare brand.
