Asos Tartan Shorts
I just realised that it is Remembrance Sunday this week, thinking that I still had a week or so to go. So I realised I better get this outfit post live and kicking. The main reason being, this beautiful Poppy Ring from Jon Richard. The ring itself can be picked up at Debenhams and costs £12 – £3.60 of which goes towards the Royal British Legion which is a fantastic percentage. It is just a lovely way to remember those that fought for our country, in a fashionable update I guess. Rather than your ordinary paper poppy, you can have a statement ring that you can keep for every year. Of course, make sure you also buy a poppy to give to the Charity each year, but this is just a nice alternative.
The Tartan shorts are the perfect print and colour and I searched for something like these for a while before falling in love with these from ASOS. So many tartan prints look so cheap and tacky sometimes. These were just the right kind for my liking. And last but certainly not least, this is one of the first drops from the new lifestyle brand, Tiger Cuts. The brand has been set up by Alex Levine, the bass player of the Gaslight Anthem, his tour manager and friends, with the idea of bringing a fresh and music inspired take on lifestyle, street wear. The clothing is awesome quality and I adore the designs. Keep an eye out because the online store will be opening some time in the next few weeks!
