My Life in Interiors

Muji Acrylic Storage – Two drawers and lid

Dreamcatcher from Monument Valley (similar)
Homesense Fluffy Gingham Throw
I have just moved home and I’ve been meaning to post about my interiors for a while. Everyone loves to decorate their rooms with bits and pieces they love and I have collected together so many things over the years. But I am now totally satisfied with my room and its is my little haven at the end of the day. I just thought I would share a few interior ideas with you.
The Muji Acrylic storage you can see twice. Once containing my perfumes and lipstick collection and the second in a rack of about eight cases, containing all of my make-up. They are the best thing for make-up storage as you can see everything you may want to use, so quickly and easily. The pink candle is from Flamingo Candles in Pink Lemonade flavour and it smells amazing! Sweet and bright, just as you would expect from this scent and I love the jar design.
I am a massive lover of Art and having more artistic pieces on my walls, so over the years I’ve built up a small collection. The majority of my prints are special edition by an artist named El Jefe but others are artist prints and posters Ive collected or kindly had bought for me. If you have a craving to buy original art, you could always go along to some local galleries such the Richard Goodall Gallery in Manchester or larger companies such as Saatchi or Christies, depending on your budget. There are quite a few places to buy artwork and it makes a pretty fun day out, its all about scoping out the best places.
The large white mirror is my favourite thing at the moment. I bought it from eBay and it came within a week. For the size, the price is amazing and I absolutely adore it. Its definitely an investment piece and something you will keep for years, so its worth that extra bit of money I think.
Finally my bed, which I just love at the moment. Cushions are from Next, Ikea and John lewis last season but Im sure you find similar things around. The bedding I bought recently from BHS as they actually have such a great collection of bedding at affordable prices, and in lovely fabrics. So its definitely worth having a look there!
I hope this has given you a few interior ideas, and if I haven’t labelled anything here, please comment below and I can try to get a link for you for anything else.
Happy decorating!
