You may have read my glowing write up of the new Illamasqua Sacred Hour collection, in which I mentioned that I would soon be reviewing the Reflection Palette. Well here it is. Arguably the most admired piece in the collection, the palette consists of four silky cream shadows that are beautifully pigmented and water resistant. Perfect for those who need ultra-staying power on their eyelids. The colours are a mixture of those that I use daily, so this was perfect for me. A light, glowing creamy white, a deep golden bronze, a chocolatey brown and a smokey blue, all with a glistening shimmer finish. The consistency is by far the nicest I have used from those in the cream shadow category, super silky and soft and easy to blend onto the eyelid. Using a small finger, these can be easily patted over the eyelid and blended together, but a fluffy 217 brush or any blending or eyeshadow brush you have will do the trick just as well. The colours can be worn alone or blended together depending on your preference but my definite favourite is the cream shade in the corner and inner half of the eye and on the brow bone with any of the other colours over the crease and outer half of the eyelid. I am literally in love with this brand at the moment. They never fail to bring out stunning products every season.
