Well, just look at this dream of a palette. A quartet of beautiful, complimentary shades packed beautifully inside a little golden case and a red Clarins Sleeve. This set of colours is named Forest and rightly so with its blend of khaki forest green, sparkly black, light bark brown and a glistening cream. It’s probably the most mature set of shades that I own and for that reason I have been really loving using this. The cream shade is unlike any I own, being a very sheer wash of cream but heavily shimery. It is the perfect shade to add over the top of another colour to add shimmer as it works almost as a glittery pigment I find. Yet, building it up on the eyelid does bring out a cream finish and it is perfect for the inner corners. The other three colours are again extremely pigmented and beautiful to blend. For the look above, I blended the brown over the centre of my eye into the black at the outer corner to give a really smokey look and the ease in which I did so was amazing. Clarins is a brand that doesn’t let down very often and this is just another fantastic product to add to their repertoire. This set also comes in about five different shades so you are sure to find a colour combo that you adore. This would also make an amazing Christmas present for someone. Just a thought!
