Recently, I have found myself diving into a few new and exciting pools. I have just finished an internship with Company magazine which was fantastic. Working with the features and fashion teams, I got to see how my favourite magazine is brought together each month. Thankyou so much again to Company for having me! Whilst I was there, I got to write and feature in a few alternative pieces, which I figured that perhaps I should share here. First up being an article I wrote on the Best Burger Restaurants in the UK. If you love cool and quirky cafes that sell american style burgers, you may want to give that one a read. I also wrote an article covering the amazing Rihanna for River Island Party that I was lucky enough to go along to. It is a round up of the nights events, just in case you were wondering what went on.
As well as some writing, I also did some filming with Marty, the fabulous Company stylist on animal print for A/W and with Sarah the lovely fashion assistant, on A/W candy colours. Really cool to film something a bit different, but also film in general, as I havent filmed in over 4 months due to being away in America. I will get onto that soon, I promise!
Yesterday, I also contributed to an article by My generation, on making yourself feel beautiful on the inside, as well as the outside. For the Three Easy Steps For Feel Good Beauty, have a little read of that article.
Finally, I am so pleased to announce that I am the new Face of Cage City, an awesome fashion brand based in London. They are bringing in some incredible handmade upcoming designer pieces, and I had the pleasure of modelling them for the website. You have to see the Cage City collections when they come out on Monday because most of the garments are truly amazing! I had the best time modelling with those guys and I truly hope to model for them again in the future.
Plus, I just started my career at the University of Manchester as a Lecturer in Fashion retailing! Cannot wait to start teaching some inspired students.
Ta ta for now!
