Not very often do I dare to revel in the dark lip. I stick with my nudes and pale pinks daily, as that is what I know really suits my skin tone and hair colour. But when the autumn and winter months come around, theres something inside me that wants to be brave enough to wear reds or purples. I always worry about them rubbing all over my face, transferring onto my teeth or onto my clothing, so I tend to leave them for special occasions. But I must say I’m getting sick of being a wimp and I’m determined to push myself to wear purples and deep reds more often. This plum shade from Giorgio Armarni is number 602, a stunning deep purple. The quality of the lipstick is beautiful. It glides onto the lips so smoothly, transferring just enough product and has a lovely, moisturising feel. My lips didn’t get dry or flaky, but stayed feeling plump and moisturised throughout wear. The case for the lipstick is also magnetic, so the cap clicks back into place on the bullet, which was a touch I really liked. Plus the casing is pretty special, so this is a lipstick to love getting out of your handbag. So so impressed with this lipstick and the shade I actually adore. I will most definitely be wearing this a lot in the run up to Christmas.
