( Bobbi Brown High Shimmer Lip Gloss – £17 )
I have not used this lipgloss as much as I should have. After taking these photos I realised how much I actually loved it and now I have totally fallen for it again. Over nude lips, the gloss adds a sheer nude coating with flickers of gold that make it gleam in the light. On the first image above, I have applied the gloss only to my lower lip to show the difference between my lip colour and the shimmery gloss. The image below this I have applied it to both lips and its subtlety shows how wearable it can be. Its name, Bare Sparkle really summarises the finish it gives. Finally I added it over one of my favourite lipsticks, the Nicki Viva Glam by Mac and you can see how the gloss brings out the gorgeous pinks. The scent is somewhat minty which I do not mind too much in glosses, but the only downside is that it is quite a sticky gloss, but nowhere near the extent of some I have tried. I will definitely be transferring this into my makeup bag in my handbag from now on, just in case I want to add a touch of sparkle.
