Sun Saviours

Topshop Chevron Sunglasses
Estee Lauder Daywear SPF50
Nivea Sun Protect Bronze SPF20
Garnier Ambre Solaire After Sun Tan Maintainer
Dove Nourishing Oil Care

For anyone still lucky enough to be jetting off soon to the sun for late summer, I thought I’d share a few of my all time favourite sun saviours. To begin, a pair of sunglasses are an essential item for any time the sun is shining. The sun can badly damage your eyes and if you can feel yourself squinting, then you need to don a pair of sunnies as soon as. These have been my summer glasses and I took them everywhere in America and loved them. You can find similar in Topshop and an even better pair of tortoise shell glass from Ray Ban at ASOS. The Estee Lauder Daywear is SPF50 and a godsend for your face in the sunshine. I smooth this over my face before adding some tinted moisturiser and it makes sure your skin is protected all day, or for a very long time at least. It is a very light and lovely product and worth the extra splurge.

Nivea are famous for making excellent sun-care products and this was no exception. It is from the protect and bronze range so that it helps your skin to bronze slightly more than the usual style of Nivea. I found that it did help slightly on my milk bottle skin and it the suncream I will be buying in the future. For after the sunshine, the Ambre Solaire Tan Maximiser has been my after sun of choice for years. I also use it as self tan most of the time also. It helps to take away any redness and leaves you looking bronzed instead; and it also smells really nice. This is a must have! Finally, for your hair, the Dove Nourishing oil is perfect for after sun exposure. After washing, spritzing a bit of this through your hair, focusing on the ends, will leave a bit of conditioning treatment in your hair to nourish. You can also take this poolside and spritz over your hair to keep it nourished during the sunshine. It smells beautiful and is such a great product for the money.

I’d love to hear what your essentials are for in the sunshine!
