ghd Mint Candy Styler

(ghd Mint Candy Styler – £110*)
I have gotten to the stage where I no longer straighten my hair. I was in a phase back in high school of straightening my hair every day and it was just getting more and more broken and split. Ever since my hair grew to past my shoulder length recently, I started to realise how much I loved having it naturally wavy. By blowdrying it upside down, my hair gets ultra volume and falls with a slight wave and by using some salt spray and a texturising creme, my hair isn’t frizzy or limp.
However, there is a time when I reach for a styler and that is when I’m getting ready for a special occasion. I usually always curl my locks for an evening or event and always prefer to do so with a straightener/styler rather than a barrel. The ghd mint candy styler is a brilliant product for curling. With the curved edges, you can really wrap the hair around the barrel to create the perfect curl. The smooth ceramic plates allow you to softly pull the hair through the barrel to spread the heat across the hair and form the curl. I find it easy to move around my head to reach all of my hair and I find the curls stay perfectly in tact all day. I also use the ghd curl hold spray which is incredible for increasing curl longevity, and I find the two work fantastic together. With the added bonus of super fast heat up and sleep mode for if you rush off in a hurry, these straighteners are not only cute and pastel, but brilliant for what they are made for. If mint isn’t your colour then you can also go for violet or lemon yellow. However, mint happens to be my favourite colour so these are one of my favourite things I own.
Have you tried the candy stylers?
