(Benefit Hello Flawless Foundation in Honey – £22.95)
My flat mate gave me this little sample last week. Although the shade is too dark for me, I still wanted to give it a try, especially as I am a Benefit foundation virgin. I poured a touch onto the back of my hand as always and used my buffing brush to buff it into my skin. The consistency of the liquid really reminds me of Nars Sheer Glow and I would say that the way the foundation reacts to my skin is very similar. I found the foundation to be quite light and light to medium coverage. It was not at all heavy and really buffed beautifully into the skin. I felt as though all colour imperfections had been corrected and my skin was one flawless shade. With another coat, the coverage could have been built up to a medium coverage yet just one coat was quite sheer yet perfecting. My skin felt hydrated and dewy and I really loved the finish. I cant tell you how impressed I was when I first tried it. For a day to day foundation, I think this could be a winner and I will definitely be heading to a Benefit counter to swatch my perfect shade.
