( Revlon Lipstick in 025 Sky Line Pink – £7.49 )
I was on a huge search for a perfect nude lipstick and picked up this one from Revlon in Boots. The shade is a lovely nude pink with a golden tone that applies really smoothly and silky to the lips. It is from the super lustrous range, so the colour is supposed to really gleam, which it truly does in the sunlight. It does not feel at all drying due to the moisturisers and vitamins it claims to contain and it is also SPF15 which is always a plus. It does stay on the lips for a few hours, especially if you are not eating, but what lipstick actually stands that test?! However, for me I was searching for more of an opaque nude lip, and for that reason I continued to look around for other lipsticks after I purchased this one. I eventually found Nevada from Topshop which I prefer, yet this one does have the beautiful lustre shine to it which not many lipsticks contain. The colour is not entirely sheer and does leave a nice colour on the lips, I was just being fussy and wanting more of my natural lip colour to be covered. This is definitely a nude lip to look out for though, especially if you love light colours with a hint of pink.
