(ghd Curl Hold Spray – £11)
This is one of the only hair styling products I use for dry hair, aside from sea salt of hair spray. Any time that I am curling my hair, usually for an event or occasion, I always use this product. I was told about this product when I was invited along to the ghd event in January and the ghd experts couldn’t rave about this enough. When I left, I went straight out and bought this, I was so impressed with it. You spray it at arms length onto sections of your hair before curling, brushing through before applying heat. The product contains heat protection spray so you do not need to use two products before styling, which I think is a huge bonus. The product just seems to hold the curls for so much longer than they would usually stay. It must have some sort of hair spray or setting product contained within it, I’m not entirely sure, I just know that it does actually do the job it claims to do. I spray this onto every section of hair before curling and I find that my curls will stay in tact for around 36 hours or so, dropping out into looser curls throughout the time. I usually apply a touch more hair spray all over my hair after curling to make sure it stays entirely set, yet there are times when I have used this alone and it really is brilliant. It is something I will continue to buy and highly recommend this to everyone.
