Mac Lipstick in Syrup

I wish I had a picture of this on the lips for you, but unfortunately this was a present for my mum and therefore I didn’t want to go trying it on. However, I still thought I would blog about it as I think its a colour that goes unnoticed a lot. It is a more mature shade and definitely for the older woman or anyone with deeper skin tones, yet it is such a gorgeous colour that I never see anyone talking about. It is a lustre finish which means that the finish is quite lustrous and glossy yet applies to the lips quite sheer. To build this up to a deep colour, you would apply it a number of times, whereas a light coat would leave lovely sheer tone with a lustrous sheen. This is a favourite of my mums who is a similar skin tone to myself. But I think for anyone looking for a more mature shade that is not too bold or overpowering, this may be a lovely lipstick to have a look at.
