A few months ago now I came across a sample of a small rose hand cream by L’Occitane in an airport. I looked around the airport shop for about 30 minutes trying to find the full size version of the sample only to be left disappointed when there was only the sample size left. Ever since then, I have been on the hunt for a rose scented hand cream. And now, I think I have finally found the one. I use hand creams every night before bed and sometimes during the day if my hands are really dry and the weather is awful. This particular cream has a beautiful rose scent that is not overly floral yet quite light and subtle. It uses rose essential oils and rose otto to really moisturise and rehydrate your skin and it is great for sensitive skin types. It works into the skin nicely and doesnt leave your skin feeling sticky. I work about a pea size amount into my hands and down my wrists. After usage and overnight, my hands feel really soft and smooth and the areas of dry skin relieved. I do not have really dry skin though, so I could not comment on what this is like for eczema conditions for instance, but for anyone with just slightly dry knuckles or palms, this works a treat. If you’re like me and love hand creams in rose scents, this might be a luxury you would love also.
