(Topshop Eye Crayons in Rust and Marble- £6.50
Topshop Sharpener – £3)
When I saw these two gems in Topshop last week, I literally picked them up and walked straight to the till. I am absolutely loving golds and coppers at the moment for a neutral yet sparkly eye, so these just seemed to be the most easy to use and wearable shades. They are so pigmented, literally one sweep of the soft crayon over the back of my hand sold them to me. They work just as easily on the eyelids, allowing you to cover your eyelid and blend or instead to create a line of colour either above or below your eye. I have also been using the lighter shade all over the lid, blending this with my finger and then adding Rust into the crease. They really shine and glisten when they catch the light and they are such a bright and beautiful tone of copper and rose gold. I also bought the sharpener to go with these, as of course they need sharpening after about 4 uses. But the sharpener can also be used with the lip colours, so it was a worthy £3 investment. It is also one of the best sharpeners for any pencil, I have ever used. I highly highly recommend the eye crayons as beautifully pigmented and easy to use eyeshadows or even eyeshadow bases. I will definitely be picking up more of these beauties.
Have you tried these or anything similar? What did you think?
