Spring Outfit Wishlists

I have recently tried to stay away from online shopping, persuading myself that I do not need any more clothes therefore I do not need to browse the new collections. Yet when I saw the #passionforfashion2 competition, I felt that perhaps it wouldn’t hurt to make wishlists for three different spring occasions. The competition asks for three outfits, one to be holiday wear, one to be party wear and the other to be casual, each totaling under £200. So I got browsing again and these are the outfits that I lusted over.

Holiday Wear

Ark Vintage Hearts & Bows Light Wash Denim Levi Shorts – £20
Office Incognito Tan Leather Sandals – £35
Topshop Crochet Cami – £32
Nars Tinted Moisturiser – £27
Regal Rose Nya Equinox Cuff Bracelet – £14
H&M Bikini Top – £9.99
ASOS Leather Trim Aztec Pattern Backpack – £45
= £182.99

To start with, I chose a holiday collection. This spring I am coveting pastels as I love how easily they can be mixed and matched with patterns, block colours and other pastel shades. This crochet cami is gorgeous and could go with so many other items but fits perfectly with some light wash vintage Levis. The tan leather sandals are a staple for holidays and literally go with everything you could own. I wanted to include makeup, as for me makeup is as much of a look as the garments, so I thought the Nars tinted moisturiser would be perfect for the natural, dewy look that everyone loves on holiday. And this bag, there are no words to describe how gorgeous this bag is and how much I love it. I’m saving for this outfit as we speak.

Casual Wear

ASOS Crop Top in Aztec Print – £15

Topshop Moto Bleach Denim Dungarees – £38
ASOS Florence Leather Flat Sandals – £22
Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation – £8.99
Topshop Lipstick in Ohh La La – £8
The Leather Satchel Company 11″ Satchel in coral – £70
= £160.50

The casual wear look I named City Casual as being a city girl myself, this is the kind of look I would wear day to day, weather dependant. This look incorporates a number of trends: denim and dungarees, aztec prints and monochromes and pastels within the leather satchel, sandals and cute coral lipstick. I love blending trends together so this is definitely a look I would wear often. The pastels would brighten up the monochrome and denim perfectly and the silver necklace would add a slightly grungey vibe.  Mixed with grungey curls tousled in the morning, the wake me up foundation would ensure that the skin was beautifully dewy and bright, making the whole look flawless.

Evening Wear

ASOS Jarlo Embellished Collar Swing Dress – £68
Topshop Lacie Cut Out Platforms – £58
Zara Block Color clutch bag – £39.99
Regal Rose Inti Sun Goddess Bracelet – £12
Mac Crème De Nude Lipstick – £14
=£191.99
The final look I named Spring Eve, as a nighttime, party style that connotes more of a cocktail, wine bar evening than a hiphop club night. This dress is beautiful and really encompasses the ethereal and feminine aspects of pastel shades. The clutch bag from Zara is in a brilliant cobalt and would add a statement colour to the outfit. A nude lipstick would keep the makeup simple and elegant whilst the simple bracelet would add delicacy. The cut out platforms are beautiful and would bring the spring/summer vibe into the look with the light wood and peep toe. The entire look is feminine, floaty and really pretty.
Please let me know what you think of my outfits, I’d love to hear your opinions. I think I might have to get saving.
