Ciate Mini Mani Month Week 2

So, its week two of the Christmas countdown and the Ciate Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar. Lets see what we found inside…

(Mistress, Ladylike Luxe, Caviar Pearls Bumble Bee )

Mistress is a postbox red and the perfect shade to team with a Russian red lip. 

Ladylike Luxe is a golden shimmer that reminds me of a similar colour by Models Own. Really pretty for the festive season.

These are the second of the caviar pearls and so exciting to open. Bumble Bee mixes gold and navy blue/black caviar pearls. I do not love them as much as Prom Queen, but I think they could look lovely over the top of Ladylike Luxe.

Twilight is a gorgeous black polish with gold shimmer. When your nails catch the light, the gold shows through in a pearlescent style. I tried the polish out for an evening, as pictured below.

Speed Dial is a gorgeous pastel pink/coral which will be perfect for the summer time. This is one of my favourites this week. 

( Glass Slipper, Headliner, Big Yellow Taxi )

Glass Slipper is a stunning metallic blue with shimmer. A friend of mine was wearing this for my Christmas party and I was lusting over her nails when she told me she got it inside her Ciate Advent Calendar. Of course this sparked a massive conversation about how we both owned one and how jealous I was that I hadn’t worn the shade that night also. 

Headliner is an aqua blue that again would look gorgeous for spring. I think it could also look beautiful paired with glass slipper, either as an ombre nail or with glass slipper used on the nail tips. 

Big yellow taxi was the colour I have been least looking forward to, as on the box it looks like a neon yellow. The colour is more of a pastel sunshine yellow though and much nicer than I expected. This goes with Headliner and Speed Dial to form a collection of spring pastel shades. 

My favourites this week are definitely Speed Dial, Twilight and Glass Slipper although I do love how versatile the red Mistress will be. This still hasn’t gotten old for me yet, each morning is still so exciting!
