MeMeMe Beat the Blues Illuminator in Moonbeam

MeMeMe Beat the Blues Highlighter in Moonbeam – £5.25 at Superdrug )

I bought this product as a highlighter as it is the perfect shade for accentuating the cheekbones. However, it is actually an illuminator and can be mixed with foundation to create an illuminated complexion. The packaging of the product has changed recently to a much nicer metallic lid and an alternative logo. The product inside though is still the same – practically a dupe of the Benefit High Beam. It applies just the same, using a small brush inside attached to the lid, and has the same light pink shimmer. If you are looking for a cheaper version of High Beam, then this is definitely it, yet High Beam is definitely a much better product. The shimmer is lovely but very very subtle when it is applied on your face. I often feel like I have to apply it twice to build it up, yet this may be favoured by a lot of people wanting to choose between a really subtle or glamorous glow. I do like this product but I personally won’t re-purchase it due to having and loving Benefits High Beam a tad more. It is fantastic though for anyone wanting to save and buy a drug store highlighter. I might start mixing it with my foundation in future to see if I love it more as an illuminator.
