Clarins Perfect Eye and Brow Palette

Clarins Ombre Matte Cream-Powder Eyeshadow in Nude Beige, Rosewood and Earth

Im a big big fan of Clarins. In fact, today I was walking around Ulta and Sephora in Hollywood, chatting on and on to my Gleam ladies about how amazing the Clarins Truly Waterproof Mascara is. I also have a number of their palettes, skincare products and makeup pieces and I have found absolutely no complaints. For example, their instant waterproof eye make up remover is literally thee best thing to combat waterproof mascara.
In the two photos above, I’ve created two different eye looks. Admittedly, the top look I have not used this particular brow kit like a silly, but I have used the Nude Beige and Rosewood eyeshadows to create a classic beige brown eye look. In the second image though, I have used all three products, focusing more on the Earth brown shade to create a deeper brown smoked eye.
The thing I like about the Brow palette is that it packs in a few favourite products, including a wax, brow highlight and three eyebrow shades – blonde, brunette and black. It also contains a handy pair of tweezers, spoolie and an applicator brush, but after trying to use it, I beg you to use a nice and thin eyebrow brush instead. This will not apply the product that well at all.
The eyeshadows are probably my favourite item here, as the cream to powder consistency is a dream, really blendable, pigmented, and I love the packaging. These three shades are a nice combo to start off with, the nude beige being great as an all-over base, the rosewood for a lid shade and earth to deepen the crease for a bolder eye. The Instant Eye Perfecting Base is also super handy for those with oilier lids, looking for a primer that also acts as a smoothing and perfecting base colour. You could just wear this alone for the day for perfect lids, to hide any veins or deeper pigmentation, or use it beneath shadows to intensify and retain the shade throughout the day.

I’ve got even more Clarins products to be reviewed soon, as I’m loving so many right now, but I thought this might be of interest to you brow lovers out there!

What is your favourite ever brow product? I’m always on the hunt for the best in the biz!
