What’s Inside My Makeup Bag?

People always wonder my Mulberry handbag is so heavy, as if it is made of gold. In fact, this is the reason it is so heavy, I always carry too many cosmetics with me. And this with my purse, umbrella, glasses and God knows what else, makes it really heavy for anyone to understand. My make up purse is from Cath Kidston and is perfect for carrying around a few cosmetics. This is what’s inside:

MAC Rebel – A deep, rich plum shade perfect for autumn or if I want to doll up an outfit taking it from work to drinks out mode. Ive noticed a lot of beauty bloggers finding this shade recently, so I routed it out and remembered how much I used to love it.

MAC Lady Gaga – the pink shade is now sold out but this is my favourite lipstick I have ever bought. Although secret admirer is quite a close duplicate, but there was something about the Gaga lipstick that I adored. I hope this will last me a while.

Topshop Secret Admirer – again perfect for everyday but also light enough to use for a nude lip look with a subtle pink tone.
Topshop Nevada – Perfect for everyday or layered with a more pink shade to create a subtle pink. I wear this for work as well as for evenings out with smoky eyes, to create a nude lip.

Bobbi Brown Lip Gloss in Bare Sparkle 15. A clear gloss with a slight golden sparkle. I just layer this over the topshop lipstick to add a gleam to my lips when Im going out.
Burts Bees Lip Shimmer in Guava – a really shimmery pink shade with hints of blue so it gives a really icy shimmer. It also tastes quite minty and works wonders for your lips.
Burts Bees tinted lip balm  – I dont know why I have two burts bees lip balms in here but ah well. This is in pink blossom and is a brilliant for chapped or sore lips. It adds a nice sheen to the lips but just blends nicely into the lip colour, there is no real colour to it.
Lipcote – The original and bestseller. It absolutely burns when you apply it, but it does hold your lip colour in place for a long time. I use this if I am applying MAC Rebel.
Carmex – My absolute lifesaver. I do not know why I used vaseline for nearly 10 years when I should have been using this. It makes your lips tingle when applied, but you can just feel it working its magic. I cant be without it. I have one by my bed and one in my purse for every occasion.
Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Sample and Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb Sample – I wear Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb Extreme so I like to keep the original scent in my bag just in case I need some. The Chanel sample was just a bonus and another sample I like to keep tucked away for spontaneous after work drinks.
MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NW20 – Again for those little touch ups when you feel your bags are starting to show at the end of the working day.
Collection 2000 Fast Stroke Eyeliner in Black – My one and only liquid eyeliner for as long as I can remember. Really cheap, goes on easily and stays put all day, unless your eyes water a lot like mine tend to do. But otherwise, perfect.
Rimmel Soft Kohl in Jet Black – My go to kohl eyeliner. I used to wear this every day in high school but now I tend to wear only liquid eyeliner on the top lashes. Kohl eyeliner is generally my day to nighttime look.

I also carry around a few hair grips, bobbles, plasters, mints, a nail kit and a mirror; all of the daily essentials I feel. So that is it!

Does anyone have a similar make up purse collection? Is this quite tame or a bit too much?
